~Distant Voices Call to Me~
I believe in the legends of times well passed
I crave to see the things that have been cast
Into ballads that tell tales of gallant heroes
Distant voices call to me send me into the throes
Of legendary histories told by my peoples wise ones
I dance to the music made for the telling of battles won
I hear the echo of the ancients voices as I chant their words
The flute grows still the drummers strike the last chords
In this night of remembering we've danced and sung
And listened to the distant voices of our blessed ones
