~Daylight Brings Me Pain~

The night is my solace
The stars my companions
I'm on a journey away from the morass
Of daylight wrought oppinions
They bring nothing but pain to this lass
Who was born on the other side of the looking glass
Give me the heavens seen in deepest blues
Dance me away from the lighter hues
My joy is that of the night
My pain is brought with the day
The night is my solace
If only I could the dawn delay
